All of our holidays are on a half board basis and include guiding and instruction from expert local guides who really know the local wildlife. We run the days through our sister company Days in the Wild. There are no hidden extras (apart from Lunch) and always an itinerary that is based around you and what you want to experience and learn.

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome, briefing, settle in. Evening Astro shoot

Further days will depend on the weather, but will always involve visits to wildlife, photography discussions and workshop timeDiscussion on otter behaviour, biology and fieldcraft. Discussion on first day settings and what to look out for. Visit otter site and photo time. Afterwards, review of images and settings, improvements to make, fieldcraft and post processing.

Otter day - Discuss otter behaviour and biology. Discuss fieldcraft and how to. Visit an otter site or two and search for otters. Given the right opportunity. Get to point where we can get some good photos without disturbing the otter. Later in the day review the photos and look at ways to improve.

Eagle day - Golden and White Tailed Sea Eagles are very different birds with different behaviours. We will generally do a day on each. We will visit sites and often wait for activity usually on a transit path where the birds will fly nearby.

As all trips are bespoke to the client, there is always scope for you to request a specifc shot or species. If you want to dedicate time to Hen Harriers, Red deer, Pine Marten, Red Squirrels or any of the myriad species here on the peninsula, you only need to ask.
